AMORE DIGITALE

Work created in September 2024, for the phygital exhibition of MAC 76B25

TISBE

The female figure, with exaggerated shapes and proportions, remains plastically still in search of "something." It is only through the title (which emerged during the creation of the piece) that we discover she is a modern Thisbe, in love with Piramus, who exists solely in the digital world.

This work is, in fact, ideally accompanied by its digital counterpart, Piramus, an NFT created for the exhibition.

A love story, improbable yet not impossible, much like the encounter between the digital and physical worlds.

PIRAMO

The male figure, with exaggerated shapes and proportions, remains plastically still in search of “something,” while certain elements move as if to step out and seek something else. It is only through the title (which was conceived during the creation of the piece) that we discover he is a modern Piramus, in love with Thisbe, yet he exists solely in the physical realm. This work is, in fact, ideally accompanied by its physical counterpart, Thisbe, a canvas created for the exhibition.

The concept behind this piece is the creation of a love story—improbable yet not impossible—just like the union between the digital and the physical worlds. A man, an impossible love:
He lives in the digital world, she in the physical one. Will they ever meet?
